Thank you for taking a Stork Kit and stepping up to care for orphaned neonatal kittens! Your compassion and dedication are making a lifesaving difference. Because of you, vulnerable kittens have a chance to grow, thrive, and find loving homes.
We are honored to support you on this journey. This page serves as your central hub for guidance, resources, and assistance while you care for your kittens.
The Stork Project empowers community members to care for orphaned neonatal kittens under six weeks old—with professional support from our rescue and partner veterinary clinics.
Instead of bringing kittens into shelters, we equip finders with essential supplies and training to help them raise kittens through weaning. Together, we are reducing shelter overcrowding and giving fragile kittens the best possible start in life.
Each Stork Kit is designed to help you confidently care for neonatal kittens and typically includes:
Essential supplies valued at $80–$120
Written guides and training resources
Access to additional support and online training resources
To thank you for your dedication, we offer financial support for a follow-up wellness visit.
You will need to provide your kit identification number found on the lid of your Stork Kit bin.
Get an electronic copy of the receipt from your Stork kit kittens' veterinary wellness visit to receive reimbursement (or take a picture of the paper copy - make sure it shows your contact information).
Take pictures of your kittens. The more the better!
Complete a brief survey after 3–4 weeks of care, and we will reimburse up to $50 toward a veterinary wellness check for your Stork Kit kittens. At this time, we can only reimburse via Paypal or Zelle.
We encourage all Stork Kit recipients to review the same trusted materials used by our foster volunteers. These resources will help you provide the highest standard of care.
