Do you have any prior experience caring for bottle babies?

Are you currently or have you previously fostered for any other rescue or shelter? If so, which one(s) and when?

Please attach your Certificates of Completion for the required online training. If you have not completed the training, please see the Foster page for further information and links to the training.

Caring for Orphaned Kittens is incredibly rewarding but can also be quite challenging. Please answer each of the following questions so we can better prepare you for this wonderful experience!

Are you willing and able to bottle feed kittens every 2-4 hours throughout the day and at least once overnight?

Are you willing and able to take pics of your foster kittens and to network your foster kittens online to help us find them a home?

Are you willing and able to transport your foster kittens to veterinary appointments, including spay/neuter?

Are you willing to allow approved adopters into your home to meet kittens?

Are you willing and able to administer oral and intranasal medications to kittens (we will train you)?

Are you willing and able to at all times monitor your young children during any interactions with kittens and to teach your children to treat kittens with care, kindness, and empathy?

Are you emotionally prepared to say goodbye to the kittens you have cared for and loved when it is time to do so?

By submitting this foster volunteer form, I acknolwedge that I am willing and able to take full responsibility for the physical and mental health and well-being of every kitten LOKR entrusts to my care. I agree to keep Little Orphans Kitten Rescue regularly updated on the growth and development of my foster kittens. I also agree to allow a representative of LOKR to visit my home in order to evaluate my foster kittens at any reasonable time. I further agree that I will promptly transfer any or all of my foster kittens to an approved adopter or other foster volunteer upon request by a LOKR representative.
