Our Story
Welcome To Little Orphans Kitten Rescue
Founded in 2011, Little Orphans Kitten Rescue (LOKR) is an all-volunteer animal rescue committed to caring for motherless, nursing kittens (“bottle babies”). Bottle babies are routinely euthanized or not accepted by shelters and other rescues because they need specialized, around-the-clock care, just like a human infant. Our foster volunteers bottle-feed and care for these babies until they are adopted by loving families.

Our Mission
Our purpose is to give motherless unweaned kittens a chance at a long, happy, and healthy life with a forever family by
- providing well-trained and well-supported fosters to provide care
- spaying and neutering all kittens before adoption
- identifying and welcoming adopters who care about our precious kittens as much as we do!
Our Vision
We envision and work toward a day when every motherless kitten in need is lovingly cared for and placed with a forever family that will ensure they have a happy life full of love and human kindness.
